omg I love this show! Is Andy really going to grow up and father this baby or is kingpin daddy going to step in and have his way with Nancy again? I can’t believe she did not go off on that witch in the hospital! She so needed to be put in her place! Esteban should have stood up in the first place for his child. Whats that saying … you snooze you lose… I can’t wait for next week!
What was that look that nancy and andy exchanged towards the end there?! I sensed hostility? anyone else? I feel like nancy might realize estaban is the true father and take him back.

I love what they’re doing with Andy this season! Justin Kirk’s been amazing and I love that someone rejected him and called him out on his immaturity (even if it was for just a short while. lol).
Ooh, man. Not as exciting as I hoped it would be, but the addition of Pilar seems like Weeds is going to get shaken up again. I’m kind of upset, though. As uneasy as Nancy can be living with Esteban, always looking over her shoulder, I don’t think it’s wise to rub him the wrong way at this point. She shouldn’t have written Andy’s name on the birth certificate, and she should have had a more lengthly and in depth conversation with Esteban to figure out a way around Pilar. I guess we’ll find out next week!
I hope we get to see some bitch fighting between Nancy and Pilar

See, I really like the show but its really becoming apparent how different seasons 1-3 and 4-5 are, they feel like different shows. I’d like to see less soap and more dope, but of course its not like we can just go back to the same feelings and reactions of the earlier seasons, Nancy is a seasoned player, whether she lets it on or not is a completely different matter. What I’d like to see is a more constructive cameo like Conrad. Its a good show it just has lost of a lot of ‘purpose’ in my eyes. Originally weeds was a show that poked at suburbia while telling the story of a widow trying desperately to maintain her lifestyle. Suburbia has given way to the mexican border and beachtowns, and the twice widowed nancy doesn’t seem to have much trouble other than what she puts on herself. Its hard to feel sorry for her sometimes… either way, I’ve gone too far to turn back, I’ll keep watching, and smoking.
After watching this episode I am sure that I have less brain cells and decreased competency. Was it the shitty show or…………………………………….? Celia should fill some bags with make-up and rocks then jump off the pier. Someone is going to die. Andy….Why????? The Beard is dead!!!!!! The show is dead. Is the Jew hater dead? Who will be reborn?
The look at the end between Andy and Nancy seemed to me like Andy checking up on Nancy and Nancy seeing Andy in a new light (holding the baby, making sure she’s ok, being all responsible ‘n shit).
There’s too much going on in this show for it to only be a half hour. It needs to be longer.
I think Nancy is just as dangerous as Esteban at this point lol. I keep thinking back to the Palaro( the spiritual medicine man in the 4th season) that gave Nancy and Esteban that drink He told Esteban that the spirits were telling him not to give Nancy that drink and this is why!
I think Shane will kill Nancy before Esteban does…

The look between Nancy and Andy may be related to the possibility of Esteban taking the baby. Even so, if she kicked her sugar daddy out of her and the babies life she will still need some money, lets hope she goes back to dealing.
Re the look: she was definitely seeing Andy in a new light, hence the title “A Distinctive Horn” (his hair). He looked fatherly. Nicely done.

RE: RE: the look … or “A Distinctive Horn” may have been all about the circumcision… I think the look that was exchanged was a mutual understanding… Now that Nancy has flipped out on Esteban, he may not only come back to take the baby, but kill Nancy and her entire family… He was pretty pissed… And really… Who does she think she’s fucking with… He’s a Mexican Drug lord… Both Nancy and Andy know that they need to flee… Hence “the look”… imo, of course… I also fear that this may be the final season! I certainly hope not… But the way things seem to be escalating… Showtime is Notoriously known for there extremely short lived sitcoms… Most barely make 5 seasons, 1 only made 2 seasons and I think only 2 shows, have made it to 8…

1 who ever said she should move back to agrestic and deal doesnt get how nancy works… she moves up not down. she is going to somehow become the sexy \mexicunt\’s b!tc# (did not catch the ladies name) and than somehow become bigger than that lady. and you know that lady is working for someone too but i bet thats next season. everyone she dealt for she became bigger than even if she had to get a little dirty to do it. i was happy i got to see her a$$ though
